Easy to use, great on laminate floors
Bought this as a second vacuum. Wanted it to handle our laminate floors, which it has done beautifully! Adjustable power is a nice feature. Light and easy to handle. Very easy to clean. Only complaint is that the attachment for throw-rug (and presumably carpet) does a so-so job, thus the four (rather than five) star rating. Overall, I do highly recommend the product.

Very Pleased Customer
I’ve found that the Dirt Devil 082700 Turbo Canister Vacuum exceeded my my performance expectations. It is easy to clean, has tremendous suction power, and I’m using it to replace not only a smaller original machine but also our larger heavier Progressive cleaner.

great little vac
I recently bought this vacuum and was surprised. My mom owns an electrolux and found that the DD vacuum works better. I have hard wood throught my house and some area rugs and it works awesome. The one thing I do not like and my husband also agrees- the tools are on the wand and that is a terrible place for them- do they even use the product after designing it!!! They always fall off and are a pain- i just put them in the closet and when I need them i go and get them. I love how lightweight the vacuum is and how the wand extends great for stairs and cleaning the car. I would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the tools always falling off the wand. Great vac very satisfied!

Convenient Powerful and Handy
This vacuume is light and handy. It has many useful accesseries. With bagless technology you are not worried about bags any more. Very stylish!

Check the model number! Bait and switch?
Model #82700 is more expensive than model #82660. As far as I can tell, the only difference is the length of the retractable cord.

The 82660 has a 15′ cord (actually about 13 1/2 feet when fully extended) and the 82700 has a 20′ cord.

I thought it was worth the extra expense to have the longer cord. However, while I was charged for the 82700, I received the cheaper 82660. They promptly sent me another, but it was also the wrong model. So, I had two large boxes to re-pack and take to the post office. I received an email from Amazon (1 month ago!) promising to resolve this issue. I have not heard from them since.

At present, I don’t have the vacuum cleaner and have not received a refund.

I agree with the other reviews. Except for the short cord, this seems to be a really good vacuum cleaner for the price (for hard floors, not carpet).

My low rating is due to the really poor service I’ve received. I presume that this ‘bait and switch’ tactic is not condoned by Amazon, but they have done nothing to follow-up and resolve the issue.

So, if you purchase this item, be sure to check the label on the bottom to make certain you’ve received the correct model.

Even if the shorter cord is not a problem for you, you should get a refund for the price difference.
